About Pretty Woman: The Musical and Tips for Getting Seats

Pretty Woman: The Musical brings the 1990 romantic comedy starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere to the stage. The story follows Vivian, a free-spirited woman working the streets of Hollywood, and Edward, a wealthy businessman, whose chance meeting turns into a week together that changes both of their lives. The stage version keeps the film's best-loved moments, including the famous shopping scene on Rodeo Drive and the night at the opera, and tells them through an original score by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance. The show opened on Broadway in 2018 and has since been staged in London's West End and on touring productions.

The musical runs about two and a half hours with an intermission. Because it deals with adult themes and includes some strong language, it suits teens and adults better than young children. Families looking for a show for little ones may prefer a children's production, while date nights and groups of friends tend to be the core audience here.

Choosing Seats for a Touring Musical

• Orchestra seats put you closest to the performers and make facial expressions and costume details easy to see.
• Front mezzanine seats often give the best view of the full stage picture and the choreography, sometimes at a lower price than the orchestra.
• Aisle seats are handy if you want quick access during intermission.
• Check the specific venue's seating chart, since sightlines vary from hall to hall. Our venue guides can help you get a feel for a room before you buy.

Practical Advice Before You Buy

Touring schedules change, so confirm current dates and cities through the production's official channels before planning travel. Popular weekend performances usually sell first, while weeknight shows can offer better availability. Arrive early to allow time for security checks and finding your seat, as late arrivals may be held until a suitable break.

If you are buying on a resale marketplace, compare the exact section and row rather than relying on the price alone, and read the delivery details carefully. You can learn how listings and transfers work on our How It Works page, and see what protections apply under the Fan Guarantee.
